Annual Events
Rev. Moore continually works to serve the community of Southwest Philadelphia and to improve quality of life through anti-violence work, youth advocacy and community beautification initiatives.   MLK Day initiatives include church restoration and cleanup and afternoon programs.   The events will end at the New Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church where Rev. Moore will deliver the famous “I Have A Dream” speech, followed by gospel singers and praise dancers from the church community.

Weekend of Peace Motorcycle Ride and Roller Skating Party
Peace is the major focus for one special weekend every May when area motorcyclists, roller skaters and special guests come together to join Paul “Earthquake” Moore at his annual Weekend of Peace.  All residents are invited to attend the events – a motorcycle ride, roller skating party and church service.  Rev. Moore has designed this weekend to bring peace to Philadelphia.

Hands for Peace
In a show of camaraderie, Rev. Moore wants everyone who lives within Philadelphia’s borders and its surrounding counties, to join hands on Woodland Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia and form Hands for Peace. It is Rev. Moore’s dream to make a human chain that runs from 40th Street down Woodland Avenue to Cobbs Creek Parkway.

24hour-Food-a-Thon Drive
The annual 24-hour food-a-thon drive takes place the weekend before “Earthquake’s” annual Turkey Run. The food drive is held in efforts to reduce hunger among families during the holiday season.  Stop by, socialize and party while you donate. The event will have live entertainment, a DJ and more.

Turkey Run
It started as a one man jog-a-thon 11-years-ago down South Broad Street and has now become the Paul “Earthquake” Moore Annual Celebrity Turkey Run down Woodland Avenue.  The goal is to receive 300 turkey dinners for families in need during the holidays.  Every runner is asked to show up with a turkey and stuffing to help reach “Earthquake’s” goal of feeding 1,000 families in Philadelphia and Delaware counties for Thanksgiving. Monetary donations and turkeys and stuffing from those unable to run are accepted on the day of the event.
